This week I got through most of my workouts without a hitch. I was scheduled to run mile repeats on Monday, but it was my birthday and I just wanted to run for fun. Since I had mile repeats also on the schedule for Wednesday, I didn't think it would hurt.
As I had mentioned before, my gym is closed for repairs... it got Harvey'd. I missed out on any type of cross-training or strength this week. I've got a plan for next week!
This week, Houston was blessed with the most gorgeous weather I have experienced in early September. It sure made all my runs feel effortless!
Saturday, I drove out to East Texas for a trail run of 25k... it was a beautiful day for a run through the forest, more on that later.
