Welcome to my weekly workout recap, today I'm recapping my workouts from last week today.
I had a good week of running this week. My plan was adjusted a bit since the opportunity arose to run a free half marathon on Sunday through my relationship with Amsyel XLight. Since I already had a 25k trail race on the calendar for Saturday, I lowed my planned Thursday mileage.
I continued with my plank-a-day and I had started doing squats while I brush my teeth. In addition, my sister and I started an arm workout challenge this week. It is so hard! I was only able to complete 1 set, I thought my arms were going to fall off... hoping to work up to 2 sets this coming week.
Workouts Last Week Today:
Sunday - Rest. 1:00 plank, 60 squats.
Monday - 4 miles easy with Anam. These were not easy! I questioned my running fitness afterwards, the hubs told me to chill out. 1:20 plank, 60 squats.
Tuesday - Yin yoga class. 1:20 plank, 60 squats.
Wednesday - Rest. 1:20 plank, 60 squats. Arms.
Thursday - 1 mile shake out run. 1:20 plank, 60 squats. Arms.
Friday - Rest. 1:20 plank, 60 squats.
Saturday - Brazos Bend 25k. 1:00 plank, 60 squats.
Total Miles = 20.5

Nothing like a free half right! I'm afraid I couldn't pass this up either!
ReplyDeleteWow! Good for you girl. That's a lot you have going on there. Trail races are tough! I've only ever done one and realized they are not for me. And 25km at that! Wowzers.
ReplyDeleteI love the arm workout! I'm going to try and get that in as one of my goals this year is to have more toned arms.
Oh... that arm workout is killing me (still)!
