I am in my 13th week of training for the Houston Half and my 2nd week of training for the Houston Marathon. While I have 2 training plans, I'm planning to follow weekday runs from the full plan and weekend runs from the half plan (until my half at the end of this month, then the full plan catches up to the weekend mileage).
This week, I had a great week of training. I started feeling more like myself! Here's how my week shook out:
Sunday - 10 miles easy.
Monday - Rest
Tuesday - Rest
Wednesday - 4 miles progressive & 4 stride outs with Anam & body weight exercises
Thursday - 4 miles easy with Anam & body weight exercises
Friday - Rest
Saturday - 10 miles at the 10 for Texas run. Crushed my time goal with a time of 1:35:20! Look for my race recap later this week.
Total Miles = 28
I'm linking up with HoHo Runs and MissSippi Piddlin’ for the Weekly Wrap; and Nicole, Annmarie, Jen, and Michelle for Wild Workout Wednesday.

Thanks! Oops, I totally messed that paragraph up! I'm following the half plan on the weekends until the full plan mileage catches up to it.

ReplyDeleteI hope you are finally enjoying some cooler temps. Congratulations on a fantastic 10 mile run! I've never raced that distance. But, there is a local one in a couple of weeks. I'd like to try it if my knees are healed sufficiently. Thanks for linking, Vicki!
