I really enjoyed this thought provoking book by Jonas Karlsson.
The nameless hero in this book has a basic life and receives a huge invoice to pay based on his EH (experienced happiness). He at first ignores the invoice thinking it is an error, then starts to call the agency that sent him the invoice. As he starts to inquire and try to find ways to bring his invoice down, his EH keeps growing and so does the invoice.
The protagonist in this book would probably be considered a "loser" in the US. He has a part-time job working in a video store, has a few friends, and lives in a small apartment, but his invoice for his EH is the largest in the country. It really makes you think about what defines happiness.
This was a short book, a very quick read... I found the book to be entertaining, funny and thought provoking.
