Workouts – Last Week Today – November 6

fontover_201671013354641-1.jpgI’m in my 6th week of training for the Houston Marathon. Race day is 10 weeks away… it is starting to feel real!

I had a great week of running this week!  Here’s how it all shook out:

Sunday – Houston Half Marathon – 13.1 miles.  Had a great time at this race, check out my recap here.

Monday – Rest

Tuesday – 4 miles easy + strength exercises

Wednesday –  Rest

Thursday – 6 miles progressive + strength exercises

Friday – Rest

Saturday – 4 miles – virtual 5k virtually with my niece and then an easy mile after that.

Total Miles = 27

    Your half marathon was great practice for your upcoming marathon. And, you knocked it out of the park. I hope your hip didn’t bother you after the race. How fun to get to share the virtual race with your niece! Thanks for linking, Vicki!

      My hip hasn’t really hurt since… it is really bizarre. Maybe it was running over some of the hills (over/underpasses) that I’m not used to. Last time it hurt was the hilly half in KS.
