Welcome to my weekly workout recap, today I’m recapping my workouts from last week today.
This week I felt was a good week. I was able to get in 4 runs this week (3 with the dogs), and I continued doing some planking and did some squats and wall sits. We had some really nice weather (very low humidity and temps in the low 80s), which made running feel effortless.
I got word on Wednesday that I’m going to run the Chicago Marathon! I’ll soon be trading in upkeep mileage for marathon training! Looking forward to round #2.
Workouts Last Week Today:
Sunday – 12 miles… slow.
Monday – Rest. 1:00 plank, 30 squats, 0:45 wall sit
Tuesday – 4 miles easy with Anam. 1:00 plank.
Wednesday – Rest. 1:00 plank, 30 squats, 0:45 wall sit.
Thursday – 5 miles easy with Sorcha + 5 hill repeats = total mileage 6 miles.
Friday – Rest.
Saturday – 5 miles easy with Anam.
Total Miles = 27
