Happy New Year!!!
I’m still formulating my goals and aspirations for 2017… I’ll be posting more about that later this week, along with my 2016 recap and my 2017 first half racing calendar.
I’m in my 14th week of training for the Houston Marathon. Race day is a mere 2 weeks away!! I’m hanging out in the taper now. I’m enjoying the mileage cutback this week, and I’ve been taking fully advantage of my recovery days. The only thing I missed this week was yoga, but I plan to double up on classes the next two weeks to keep me loose for the marathon.
Sunday – Rest.
Monday – 4 miles easy with Anam.
Tuesday – Rest.
Wednesday – 6 miles – 1 mile w-up/c-down with 4 miles “fast”.
Thursday – Rest.
Friday – 6 miles easy.
Saturday – 10 miles steady.
Total Miles = 26
