Running Gear… how much is enough?

Today the topic is the Running Gear – are you a hoarder or minimalist?

I think I fall about in the middle.  While I am newish at running, I haven’t had the time yet to build up a huge amount of running clothes, shoes or gear.  However, I have found that once I find a brand/style that I like… the stocking up begins.

Shoes are one thing that I tend to stockpile.  Once I find my size and style, I watch for sales and load up. I have a love affair with Altra shoes… I’ve got 6 pair of shoes in my rotation.

Spandits! are a new love of mine… I have accumulated 4 pair of shorts and am looking for more… and I have my first pair of capris. I was just chosen as a brand ambassador (yay!), so I imagine my collection will only grow.

The other item that I have accumulated are Pro Compression socks.  I love wearing them on my long runs, and they are helpful for recovery too.  The sock of the month is always the cutest, so it is very hard not to want a sock each month.

    I have a few people compression socks too. I like wearing the fere cower after a long run.

    Oh goodness. Pro Compression socks of the month are irresistible! So are Spandits!
