I have become a Runkeeper GO! user.  I upgraded my free account to the paid version when they offered it at half price after the recent rebranding of the app. 

I have to say, I really like this app.  I have used 2 of the training plans on it.  I trained for my most recent 5k with the Beginner 5k plan, and am currently using the Sub 65 Minute 10k plan for my next race. In the past, I have always self-trained, and have never included speed work or interval training because it seemed to require going to a track or figuring out how to use the modes on my watch. With Runkeeper, it is a breeze… I get an audio cue in my headphone that tells me when to do what, and I love it! 

While I haven’t used many of the benefits that come with the upgrade, I have dabbled with the with the reports.  Aside from the reports, upgrading affords the following benefits:

  • Live Track – allows others so see where you are in real-time (you control who can see).
  • Premium training plans.
  • Prescribed workouts – schedules workouts for you based on what you want to accomplish and your schedule and ability.

There are 3 additional features available for iOS users – Goal Coach, Target Pace, and DJ… hopefully these will be available on Android soon!
