Race Memorabilia

Tuesdays on the RunToday I’m linking up with MCM Mama Runs, Marcia’s Healthy Slice, and My no-guilt life for Tuesdays on the Run.

Today we’re talking race memorabilia!

There is a lot of stuff that you get when you run a race… I’m always amazed at the amount of things I have that I need to empty out of my car after I’ve ran one.  There is the bib, usually a medal, t-shirt, race pamphlets, etc.

When I was a bit more organized.  I kept my race bibs and the pamphlets from the bigger races and scrapbooked them.

I just don’t seem to have the time for that any more… this is what it looks like now, but I’m keeping the bibs just in case the scrapbook fever hits again!

Oh, I love the idea of scrapbooking some of the memorabilia. But yeah, you gotta be dedicated and keep up with it 🙂

It is fun, but it takes a lot of time.

I like your board. I used to keep all my all my bins in a binder but I got too many that won’t fit in there now.

Thanks! I had thought about keeping the bibs in a binder.

Very impressed by your scrapbooking! I used to do that sort of thing when I traveled, but somewhere along the way I stopped. It’s such a nice memory.

I haven’t done much of it since I moved to Texas, I always did it with my mom and sister. However, on one of my trips back home we did plan a girls scrapbooking day – that was fun!

Such a cute idea! I used to keep every single one of my bibs & medals. But when we made a big move a few years back, I figured I’d offload them. Now I only keep the ones that I find are special to me for some reason. I’ve also seen people make a picture frame holder with bibs in them and it has hooks attached to hang the medals. So many creative ideas to display our running awesomeness =)
