May…. is in the books. It is hard to believe that it is June already… this year is flying by! May brought a lot of storms… many of which I couldn’t run through.
I made some running goals for the year in January and it’s time to check in to see how I’m progressing on them.
Goal: Run 1,000 miles in 2016. I’m still little off track – I’m 38% of the way there with 42% of the year gone. I only got in 63 miles in May and I am disappointed with that number. I know it will rise as I begin training for my marathon this fall, so I’m not worrying too much about hitting my goal number.
Goal: Register for and start training for the 2017 Houston Marathon. I’m registered. Training will begin in late September.
