LED Light Running Belt Review + Discount

DSC_0042cropI have to admit, I wasn’t really in the market for a new running belt, I have a flip belt that I had been using quite successfully.  When Level Up Runs reached out regarding their LED Light Running Belt, I was intrigued by the idea of a belt with lights.

The first thing I did when the belt came, was to see if my phone fit. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and I keep it in an Otterbox, I was please to see that my phone fit in the pouch, including the case with room to spare! It is hard finding something that will accommodate a large phone.

This belt seems to be well made and able to hold up to the toughest workout. The belt material is wide and made out of elastic material, you can adjust it easily on both sides so that the pocket stays in front and the clasp stays in back.  The pocket material is waterproof… no more sweaty phone when I am finished with my run! I haven’t been able to test it on a rainy run yet.  The LED light control is housed in it’s own little pocket on the inside, the control itself is encased in a silicone type plastic cover.

Kind of hard to see, but there is the little pocket that keeps the LED light control in place

The first time I ran with this belt was during the Baytown Bud Heat Wave. I broke the rule about nothing new on race day, and am happy to report I put it on and basically forgot about it until the race was over and I needed to take my phone out.  I carried my phone, lip balm, ID and car key in the pocket.

I have taken it out on 5 runs so far, and it is holding up great.  It has become my “go to” running belt.  I have found that it stays put, doesn’t bounce and is low profile. I don’t run much at night, but I did take it out for a walk at dusk and used the LED lights, they are bright!

I give this belt a thumbs up and would recommend it!

NOTE: I received a complimentary running belt from Level Up Runs in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.
