June… is in the books. The year is halfway over, where did it go! In June, I took a fabulous vacation to Colorado with the hubs, it set my running back a bit as I didn’t run for 10 days.
I made some running goals for the year in January and it’s time to check in to see how I’m progressing on them.
Goal: Run 1,000 miles in 2016. I’m still little off track – I’m 42% of the way there with 50% of the year gone. I only got in 37.5 miles in June and I am very disappointed with that number. I know the number will rise as I begin training for my 4th half-marathon later this month and so I’m not not stressing out too much about hitting my goal number. I think I got this.
Goal: Register for and start training for the 2017 Houston Marathon. I’m registered. Training will begin in late September.
