5 Things On My Summer Bucket List

Happy Friday!!! Today I’m linking up with Eat Pray Run DC, Mar on the Run and You Signed Up For What for the Friday Five link up. This week is a free week… with summer about half way over, I thought I would share the 5 things left on my summer bucket list!

  1. SUP or Stand Up Paddleboarding… this looks like so much fun, I really want to do it, I have found a couple places nearby that rent paddleboards.
  2. Kayak… I haven’t kayaked in ages, I think the last time was at Girl Scout camp way too many years ago. It looks like a fun way to explore the local lakes.
  3. Fly a kite on the beach… truth be told I have never flown a kite. ┬áThis is the year… I think it would be super fun to make it a part of a trip to Galveston (there is always a good breeze there).
  4. Trail running … I’d like to get off the pavement and try running on some trails.
  5. Get an ice cream from the ice cream truck… it doesn’t seem like summer without getting an ice cream treat!

What is on your summer bucket list?

Have fun! SUP and kayaking are both so much fun! I’m looking forward to some beach walks/runs, a baseball game and a summer outdoor concert. Just 6 weeks left to get them in!

We laugh cus we randomly see an ice cream truck around our neighborhood called “The Funky freezer”. We think that is strange!

I did try SUP, and even though it made my nervous, I’d like to try it again. I’d also like to try kayaking — never did it.

SUP was on my list, so I can scratch that one off! So is kayaking, but now that we have Bandit my time is really limited again. He’s not real comfortable yet when I’m out for long periods of time, and getting them over separation anxiety involves trying not to go over the amount of time they can handle — although some days (like today) it just can’t be avoided.

I’m really excited to try SUP! I truly hope Bandit gets better… for both him and YOU!
