Workouts – Last Week Today – November 27

fontover_201671013354641-1.jpgI’m in my 9th week of training for the Houston Marathon. Race day is 7 weeks away!!

This week I had great week of training! I’m loving the crisp fall weather that we had most of the week.  I mixed up my mileage and workouts up a bit… to compensate for family being in town.

On Thanksgiving my family participated in the Run Thru The Woods race in the morning.  Look for the recap this coming week.

Here is how my week played out:

Sunday – 15 miles – LSD.

Monday – Rest… sort of, lots of walking at the San Jacinto Battleground/Monument and Galveston.

Tuesday – Rest… sort of, lots of walking around Space Center Houston.

Wednesday –  3 miles easy with the nieces.

Thursday – 5 miles – Run Thru The Woods – this was a speedy one – 44:02!

Friday – 4 miles easy.

Saturday – 5 miles easy.

Total Miles = 32

    You had a great training week! It’s scary how fast the years is coming to an end! Only 7 weeks until your marathon? Wow! How fun to be able to run a few miles with your nieces. Congrats on that speedy 5 miler! Thanks for linking, Vicki!
